Extra Curriculars

Ignore the trophies for a second. Look at how Co-Ed this Club is.

Your parents are probably already pushing you to “be more involved.” They’re worried about your college resume while you might be more concerned with what to do this weekend. Join an activity and you can kill two birds with one stone (just don’t make it the bird-watching club).

Far too often single people complain about there not being any available options. If you feel like that’s the case, it’s time to put yourself out there and meet some fresh faces. At the worst you’ve tried something different and learned a new skill. And at best, you’ve met a girl who you really hit it off with.

High school clubs or co-ed sports teams are probably the best venues to meet girls that will ever exist. You’re guaranteed a common interest and at least one topic to talk about simply by showing up. You spend a lot of time around one another and simply being around that much and becoming more familiar makes you more interesting to her. If you really get into it, showing her that you’re passionate about something makes you all the more appealing as well.

If you’re good at it – you’re set to impress. If she’s good at it – you can ask for her help.

So be on the look out around school, community centers, and religious groups for clubs or teams to join. Once you sign up, remember the H.U.S.H. tips to steer clear of The Friend Zone and work your way up to asking her out. Now get out there and give it a shot.
