What will help you most with girls in the rest of your life (as will help you with any and all human beings out there) is respect. This isn’t about returning to gentlemanly times when you place your coat over a puddle so she doesn’t dirty her shoes or pulling out her chair for her as you sit down at a table. It’s just about treating the girls you interact with with dignity. This is why as a reader of HUSH you will never holler at a girl.
We’ve all seen it.
An attractive girl passes a group of guys and they make comments, the call her over, they tell her how great she looks and how enthusiastic they are to be her boyfriend or at least what they’d like to do with her physically.
No one likes it.
Even if you think it’s a compliment and that you’re saying positive things – the overall experience is negative. It’s gross to be judged while one is just walking down the hallway. It doesn’t make anyone feel like a human being.
It’s not funny.
Sure it’s done as a joke among guy friends meant to lighten up the situation and acknowledge your attraction to the girls around you, but it’s a form of bullying and harassment.
If you want to get her attention there are other ways.
We never said you couldn’t talk to strangers or find other ways to draw girls’ attention. You just have to do it in a way that shows her you think she is more than a hot body. You’ll have more success when you don’t stat off like a perv.
